Terms & Conditions

All Pet Model owners must read the Terms and Conditions below and confirm their
understanding and agreement before registering with PetLondon Models

1.Definitions

“Assignment” means any services requested by a Client in connection with any form
of advertising, photography, filming or public relations project.
“Booking Form” is the document the Guardian must sign to confirm an Assignment
“Client” means any third party individual, partnership, company or other organization
or entity in which contracts with the Company with a view to procuring the services
of the Pet Model in respect of an assignment.
“Company” means PetLondon Models, a division of PetLondon Trading Ltd,
registered no. 4819529
“Fee” means money owing from a Client for an assignment
“Guardian” means the legal owner or handler of the pet model
“Offer of Work” refers to an offer to the Pet Models Guardian from the Company
“Pet Model” means a pet registered with PetLondon Models
“Term” means the duration of a pet models registration with PetLondon Models

2.Bookings
2.1 The Company shall act as the pet model’s agent and negotiate and conclude
agreements with Clients for assignments for the Pet Model.
2.2 The Guardian grants the Company the sole authority on behalf of the Pet Model to
collect and receive all gross income arising out of any Assignment undertaken by the
Pet Model during the Term and also after the expiry of the Term if the income arises
or is linked to any Assignments negotiated by the Company during the Term.

3.The Guardian’s Obligations
3.1 Once an assignment has been agreed to (verbally or in writing) the Guardian along
with the Pet Model agrees to attend the Assignment on the agreed date(s) and time(s)
3.2 The Guardian shall act in a professional manner on any assignments and shall
ensure that the Pet Model is kept under control at all times. The Guardian will ensure
the Company is aware of any behavioral issues the animal may have
3.3 The Guardian shall ensure the Pet Model arrives for their assignment washed and
well groomed.
3.4 The Guardian shall inform the Company of any significant changes to the Pet
Model’s appearance, such as change in coat colour or teeth.
3.5. The Guardian confirms that the Pet Model has comprehensive insurance
3.6 The Guardian agrees to indemnify and keep fully indemnified at all times the
Company from any actions, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, legal expenses,
awards or damages howsoever arising directly or indirectly as a result of any
behavioral issues, breach or non-performance by the Pet Model or their Guardian.
3.7 The Guardian agrees that during the membership period with the Company the
model will be signed up exclusively with PetLondon Models and that their animal
will not be listed with any other agencies in the United Kingdom. Upon expiry of
membership period or upon written cancellation of membership, the Guardian is
released from this obligation.
3.8 The Guardian understand that where the work their animal is taking part in is a
Public Performance, it is the Guardians responsibility to have registered with their
local council for a Performing Animals License

4.Payment for Assignments
4.1 Further to 2.3 above, the Company will collect all gross income arising from an
assignment. The gross income will then be divided between the Company and the Pet
Model (in proportions which will depend upon the Assignment).
4.2 The Pet Model’s payment, hereinafter referred to as the Fee, will be detailed in the
Booking Form which will be emailed prior to any booking and agreed to by the
Guardian signing and returning this form. This Fee will be the full amount the Pet
Model will receive for their participation in the assignment.
4.3 The fee will be sent to the Guardian by cheque within 14 days of when the
Company received the gross income. Cheques will be made payable to the Guardian.
4.4 If the Client, prior to its commencement, cancels an Assignment and the Company
does not receive payment from the Client, the Model shall not be entitled to any Fee.
4.5 If an assignment is cut short for any reason relating to the Pet Model’s appearance
or their behavior being deemed unsuitable then the pet model will only receive
payment for the time, which they were in attendance at the assignment. If the Pet
Model is on a day rate this will be calculated by dividing the day rate by hours booked
to work out an average hourly rate.

5. Guardian’s Acknowledgement

5.1 The Guardian hereby acknowledges the Company will display the Pet Models details and images on the petlondonmodels web-site and will act as an Agent in securing Assignments for them.

5.2 The Guardian hereby acknowledges that a registration fee is the only payment to be made to the Company during their registration period (if applicable). This registration fee is a payment, which is equivalent to a reasonable cost estimate for the Company to create an online portfolio for the Pet Model

5.3 The Guardian acknowledges that by registering with the Agency their pet will have the chance to be chosen for assignments but there is no guarantee of this occuring. In order to give your pet the best possible chance, it is recommended to use good, clear professional style images and keeping your profile regularly updated

6.Termination

6.1 Without prejudice to any other remedy available to it the Company shall be
entitled to terminate its Representation of the Model at any point during the Term
with immediate effect, and to remove the Model from the Company web-site, should
the Model breach any of his/her obligations within these Terms and Conditions.
6.2 The Guardian may choose to terminate the Pet Model’s membership with the
Company at any point during the Term but shall be required to complete any agreed
Assignments that are not yet completed. No registration fee shall be refundable if the
Guardian terminates the Pet Model’s membership.

7.General
7.1No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in
writing and signed by both parties
7.2If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be held to be invalid
or unenforceable by a court of law then the remaining terms shall not be affected and
will remain in force.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be considered to constitute a
partnership or joint venture between the parties
7.4 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
